THE WORK OF „THE 12 STARS IN THE CROWN OF MARY, QUEEN OF PEACE”

„A great sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet and a crown of twelve stars on her head”
(Rev 12,1).

The Work of „The 12 Stars in the Crown of Mary, Queen of Peace” is a form of fulfilling the mission of “Communita Regina della Pace” Association. It is a project of creating 12 International Centers of Perpetual Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament for Peace in different parts of the world. We would like them to be established particularly in the places affected by armed conflicts, by lack of agreement among nations and believers of different religions, as well as in the places where those who yearn for peace and reconciliation, seek its true source.

A material sign of a spiritual work are altars of adoration of the Blessed Sacrament together with monstrances alluding to the image of Our Lady. They are created in Poland, in the artistic studio of Mr. Mariusz Drapikowski and Mr. Kamil Drapikowski. By their unique beauty they worship God alive and open the adorers to the abundant graces flowing from the encounter with Eucharistic Jesus.

At present the project is being carried out in the following locations: the Chapel of Perpetual Adoration by the Milk Grotto Church in Bethlehem, the Shrine of the Queen of Peace in Oziornoje (Kazakhstan), St. James Church in Medjugorie (Bosnia and Herzegovina), the Basilica of Our Lady of Peace in Yamoussoukro in Ivory Coast, the Shrine of Mother of the Word in Kibeho (Rwanda), the Shrine of Our Lady of the Rosary in Namyang in South Korea, the Shrine of Saint John the Evangelist in Dagupan (the Philippines).

“Mary’s life-long interior disposition is above all what makes her a «woman of the Eucharist.» This is how she serves as a model for the Church”
(Ecclesia de Eucharistia, # 53).
